Band Profile.

Name: City of the Damned
Members: Tom Vickers, Katie Riley and Molly Betts

Age: 18-19
Gender: 1 male, 2 females.
Clothing: Effortless punk, smart casual, black and whites.
Lifestyle: They spend most of their time playing music either recording or jamming, coming up with new songs. They are all very artistic and spend their spare time painting either canvas or walls. Tom is a skilled street artist and spends a lot of time brightening up run down areas with his style that has a mixture of harmless cheek and profound messages about the state of the modern world.
Album: Love What You've Done With the Place
Genre: Punk
History: Molly and Katie met at art school, University of Arts in London. They were studying art and bonded by their love of old punk music. They started hanging out together, jamming with their guitars. They meet Tom later at a gig who was giving out flyers advertising for a drummer and bass because he was trying to start a band. After their first session they had already made a single and had a strong idea of a concept for a whole album.
Appeal/ Unique selling point: There band is mainly girls which is unusual for rock bands in general, also female punk rockers are very rare. To have two female band members in a punk rock band is different and would bring in more fans. I think it's good for women to see talented women being a strong dominant feature in the band but also being musically practical. the few women on the rock band scene are often either the main singer with a all male band behind her or one member of the band who fades away into the background.
